Introduction to the material types and embossing techniques of embossed carpets

1. Classification by material

1. Wool embossed carpet

Features: Wool carpet is naturally soft and elastic. After embossing, the pattern has a strong three-dimensional sense and a high-grade texture.
Applicable scenarios: high-end hotels, villas, conference rooms and other places with high quality requirements.

2. Nylon embossed carpet

Features: Nylon carpet has strong wear resistance and is easy to clean. The embossed pattern is durable and not easy to deform, and it is cost-effective.
Applicable scenarios: commercial places, offices, corridors and other high-traffic areas.

3. Polypropylene embossed carpet

Features: Polypropylene carpet is inexpensive, has strong stain resistance, simple embossing process, and is suitable for large-scale production.
Applicable scenarios: home, school, temporary activity venues, etc.

4. Blended embossed carpet

Features: Combining the advantages of multiple fibers (such as wool + nylon), taking into account comfort and durability, and various embossing effects.
Applicable scenarios: mid-to-high-end home, hotel rooms, etc.

2. Classification by embossing process

1. Hot-pressed embossed carpet

Process: Apply pressure to the carpet surface by heating the mold to melt or deform the fibers to form a pattern.
Features: The pattern is clear and the three-dimensional sense is strong, but the temperature needs to be controlled to avoid material damage.
Applicable materials: Synthetic fibers such as nylon and polypropylene.

2. Cold-pressed embossed carpet

Process: The carpet surface is textured by mechanical pressure at room temperature without heating.
Features: Simple operation and low cost, but the pattern durability may be slightly inferior to hot pressing.
Applicable materials: Wool, blended, etc.

3. Printed embossed carpet

Process: First, the pattern is formed on the carpet surface by the printing process, and then the three-dimensional sense is enhanced by the embossing process.
Features: Rich patterns, bright colors, both decorative and functional.
Applicable scenarios: Theme hotels, children's rooms, etc.
