What are the types of vacuum bags?

I. Classification by Material

  1. Polyethylene (PE) Vacuum Bags

    • Made from polyethylene resin, offering moisture-proof, rust-proof, and oxidation-resistant properties.
    • Commonly used for packaging food and pharmaceuticals, with high transparency but relatively soft texture.
  2. Polypropylene (PP) Vacuum Bags

    • Made from polypropylene resin, featuring high heat resistance and chemical resistance.
    • Suitable for packaging high-temperature foods and items requiring sterilization, such as cooked meals, meats, etc.
  3. Nylon (PA) Vacuum Bags

    • Made from nylon resin, known for high strength and wear resistance.
    • Often used to package items requiring pressure resistance, such as oily foods, meat products, etc.
  4. Polyester (PET) Vacuum Bags

    • Made from polyester resin, characterized by an attractive appearance and excellent heat resistance.
    • Ideal for packaging food and daily necessities where visual appeal is important, such as outer layers for steamable packaging.
  5. Aluminum Foil Vacuum Bags

    • Composed of aluminum foil laminated with other materials, offering superior barrier properties, heat-sealing performance, and light-blocking capabilities.
    • Relatively expensive but widely used in applications requiring high barrier performance.

II. Classification by Sealing Method

  1. Heat-Sealed Vacuum Bags

    • Sealed via heat pressing, ensuring excellent airtightness and resistance to reopening.
    • Lower production efficiency, suitable for scenarios demanding high sealing quality.
  2. Evacuation-Sealed Vacuum Bags

    • Sealed by evacuating air from the bag, combining high production efficiency with reliable airtightness.
    • Widely used for packaging various items.
  3. Ultrasonic-Sealed Vacuum Bags

    • Sealed using ultrasonic technology, providing strong airtightness and tamper resistance.
    • Higher equipment costs, suitable for specialized sealing requirements.

III. Classification by Application

  1. Food Vacuum Bags

    • Primarily used for food packaging and preservation, extending shelf life and maintaining freshness.
    • Examples: cooked food vacuum bags, grain vacuum bags, etc.
  2. Electronics Vacuum Bags

    • Designed to protect electronic products from moisture, oxidation, and damage during storage and transportation.
    • Commonly used for packaging electronic components, circuit boards, etc.
  3. Specialty Vacuum Bags

    • Includes sterilized vacuum bags for medical use and portable vacuum bags for outdoor travel. These bags feature unique material compositions, sealing methods, and application-specific requirements.
