I. Pre-Welding Preparation

  1. Material Inspection

    • Check the membrane material for damage, punctures, or stains to ensure it is intact.
    • Clean the surface of the membrane material to remove dust, grease, and other impurities, ensuring welding quality.
  2. Tool and Equipment Preparation

    • Prepare welding equipment (e.g., hot air welder, high-frequency welding machine), welding guns, welding rods (if required), cutting tools, and measuring instruments.
    • Ensure the welding equipment is in good working condition, and perform necessary preheating or calibration.

II. Welding Steps

  1. Membrane Layout and Alignment

    • Lay the membrane material on the bottom and sides of the pool according to the design requirements, ensuring it is smooth and wrinkle-free.
    • Align the edges of the membrane to be welded, ensuring the seams are flat and tightly fitted.
  2. Welding Operation

    • Select the appropriate welding method based on the type and thickness of the membrane material. Common methods include hot air welding or high-frequency welding.
      • Hot Air Welding: Use a welding gun to blow hot air onto the joint area to soften and bond the materials. Control the temperature and airflow to avoid overheating, which may cause excessive melting or scorching.
      • High-Frequency Welding: Clamp the membrane between the electrodes of a high-frequency welding machine. Use high-frequency waves to heat and press the materials together. Adjust parameters such as power and time to achieve optimal results.
  3. Weld Seam Treatment

    • After welding, inspect the seams for smoothness, strength, and absence of leaks or weak joints.
    • Trim and polish the seams as needed to remove excess welding material and burrs.

III. Key Precautions

  • Maintain consistent temperature and pressure during welding to ensure uniform bonding.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure of the membrane to high temperatures to prevent material degradation.
